Story_teller_C_M_800_pix.JPG (120131 bytes)

"The Story Teller" Based on 15th Century Benin Africa, they did not have a written language but they had a storyteller who would pass the history and culture down to the tribe, usually at night, usually outside around a fire. 110 hours to complete this piece with lots of detail. This piece is not for sale but I will carve a similar one. All work is original so no two  pieces are exactly alike. I can also add family members faces to the storyteller and tribe members.
